This Calculator Accuracy Disclaimer ("Disclaimer") applies to all calculations, outputs, estimates, projections, quotes, PDFs, and other results generated by the ShadeCalc platform (the "Service"). This Disclaimer is incorporated into and forms part of the ShadeCalc Terms of Service.

ShadeCalc is a cost estimating and pricing calculation tool designed to assist window covering and shade professionals with generating estimates and quotes. The Service is not a substitute for professional financial analysis, accounting, tax preparation, legal advice, or independent verification of pricing and costs.

All calculations, outputs, projections, and results generated by the Service are estimates only and should be treated as preliminary approximations. They are not guarantees of accuracy, completeness, or reliability.

SHADECALC DOES NOT WARRANT, REPRESENT, OR GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY CALCULATION, OUTPUT, ESTIMATE, PROJECTION, QUOTE, PDF, OR OTHER RESULT GENERATED BY THE SERVICE.

Calculations are based entirely on data entered by the User and, where applicable, data extracted from uploaded vendor documents using artificial intelligence. Errors may arise from incorrect or incomplete data entry by the User, errors in AI-powered extraction of data from vendor PDFs, changes in vendor pricing or material costs that occur after data entry, variations in local, state, or federal tax rates, tariffs, or regulatory requirements, rounding or computational limitations inherent in software calculations, custom specifications or project variables not captured by the Service, and software bugs, errors, or temporary service disruptions.

YOU ARE SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY RESPONSIBLE FOR INDEPENDENTLY VERIFYING ALL CALCULATIONS, OUTPUTS, ESTIMATES, PROJECTIONS, QUOTES, AND PDFS GENERATED BY THE SERVICE BEFORE:

• Presenting any quote, bid, or estimate to a customer, client, or third party;
• Entering into any contract, agreement, or commitment based on such calculations;
• Making any business, financial, or operational decision in reliance on such calculations;
• Filing any tax returns or making any tax-related determinations;
• Ordering materials, scheduling labor, or committing resources based on such calculations.

Failure to independently verify the accuracy of the Service's outputs is done at your sole risk.

Vendor Pricing. Vendor costs change frequently. Always confirm current pricing directly with your vendors before submitting quotes to customers.

Tax Rates. Sales tax, use tax, and other tax rates vary by jurisdiction and change periodically. The Service does not automatically update tax rates. Users are responsible for entering and verifying correct tax rates.

Tariffs and Import Duties. Tariff rates are subject to change based on government policy. Users must verify current tariff rates applicable to their products.

Labor Rates. Installation labor rates vary by region, contractor, project complexity, and market conditions. Users must verify that labor rates entered into the Service reflect current and accurate costs.

Material Costs. Material costs fluctuate based on supply and demand, vendor relationships, and market conditions. Users must verify current material costs with their suppliers.

Shipping Costs. Shipping rates vary by carrier, distance, weight, dimensions, and fuel surcharges. Users must verify shipping costs with their carriers.

Margins and Markup. The Service calculates margins and retail prices based on User-defined parameters. Users are responsible for ensuring that their margin targets are appropriate for their business and market conditions.

The Service includes an AI-powered feature that extracts data from uploaded vendor PDF documents. This feature uses artificial intelligence and machine learning, which are inherently imperfect technologies.

AI extraction may produce errors, omissions, misinterpretations, or inaccuracies. Extracted data may not accurately reflect the contents of the uploaded document. Users MUST review and verify all AI-extracted data before using it in any calculation, quote, or business decision.

ShadeCalc assumes no responsibility for errors or inaccuracies resulting from AI-powered data extraction.

ShadeCalc does not provide financial advice, legal advice, tax advice, accounting services, or any other professional advisory services. The Service is a calculation tool only. Users should consult with qualified professionals (accountants, tax advisors, attorneys, financial advisors) for advice specific to their business circumstances.

Nothing in the Service or its outputs should be construed as professional advice of any kind.

BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:

• You assume all risk associated with the use of the Service and its outputs in your business operations;
• You are solely responsible for all pricing, quoting, bidding, estimating, and business decisions made using or in reliance on the Service;
• ShadeCalc shall have no liability for any financial loss, lost profits, lost business opportunities, underbidding, overbidding, quoting errors, tax errors, or any other damages arising from your use of the Service;
• You will not hold ShadeCalc responsible for any disputes with your customers, vendors, employees, contractors, or any other third parties arising from quotes, estimates, or calculations generated using the Service;
• The ultimate responsibility for the accuracy and appropriateness of any quote, bid, or estimate rests entirely with you.
